The role of the three commissions is to examine, from the viewpoint of their application, the various regulations for each specific voltage level, before they are authorised by the Live Working Committee. Their purpose is to obtain detailed, clear and concise regulations, making them easier to understand and apply.

Each commission is made up of:

a commission leader
-
a secretary,
-
a General Deputy to the Live Working Committee
-
experts from the various companies operating electricity transport or distribution grids, training companies and SERECT.
