Pursuant to the decree dated 16 February 1982 (Art. 5), employers are required to perform Live Working under the general safety instructions applicable to any electrical operation (UTE C18-510-1), particularly regarding staff training.
The employer must, prior to qualification for Live Working (Art. 8), ensure that staff have received training under the specified conditions.
In addition to these provisions, the Committee recommends employers (LV recommendation, HV-A recommendation 1 and HV-A recommendation 2) ensure their staff's skills are maintained, by regularly carrying out Live Working and regularly organising retraining sessions, with the support of authorised training centres.
